Over the weekend, Natrona County Democrats Chair Joan Brust and Vice Chair Keenan Morgan had the pleasure of attending the Wyoming Democratic Party’s State Central Committee (SCC) meeting in Rock Springs!
At the SCC, we attended trainings, met Wyoming Democrats from around the state, and elected new leadership for the state party! We are bringing back useful information, ideas, and goals that we will help us show Natrona County that we are Here For Good!
We received training on how best to utilize precinct committee people, ideas for fundraising and community engagement, communications strategies, data analysis for campaigns, and more. We hope to see you at our next Monthly Meeting so we can give a more detailed update on the things we’ve learned!
Most importantly, we are excited to have been part of the election of new leadership for the Wyoming Democratic Party! In particular, we are excited about the election of Dacia Edwards, our very own Natrona County precinct committeewoman from Evansville!
The new WDP leadership team is as follows:
Lucas Fralick, Chair (right)
Lindsey Hanlon, Vice Chair (left)
Dudley Case, Treasurer
Dacia Edwards, Secretary

The state party also has important caucuses that advocate for issues that matter to us Democrats. We have great people leading these caucuses, including (from left to right):
Courtney Seghetti, Chair of the *new* WDP Minorities and Allies Caucus
Kyle “El” Cameron, Chair of the WDP Labor Caucus
Meghen Jensen, Chair of the WDP Women’s Caucus

We had several opportunities to speak with the new leadership team and we trust that they will be supportive partners for Natrona County Democrats, sharing in our goals to stand up to the “Freedom” Caucus and the chaos of MAGA politics.
We want to thank the Sweetwater County Democratic Party for hosting us!
