The Natrona County Democratic Party is proud to announce that Democrats are back on the ballot across Natrona County and Wyoming. With eight Democratic candidates running for state and federal offices and eight Democratic candidates for Natrona County partisan offices, voters will have a clear choice for the first time in years. Voters will finally be able to choose leaders committed to strong public schools, affordable living, responsible government, a clean environment, protecting our public lands, safeguarding the Wyoming way of life for future generations, and protecting the rights and freedoms of every Wyomingite.
Natrona County Democratic candidates include Stewart McAdoo (HD36), Betsy Erickson (HD37), Catherine McQueen (HD38), Luc Colgrove (HD57), Keenan Morgan (HD58), Laurie Longtine (HD59), and County Commissioner candidates Lisa Jamieson and Candace Machado. These candidates bring a shared commitment to listening to their communities, solving problems, and putting the people first.

For too long, voters have gone to the ballot box without a choice. HD38 has not had a Democratic contender in over 10 years. HD37 and HD58 have not had Democratic challengers since 2016. HD36 and HD59 have not been contested by Democrats since 2018. HD57 was last challenged by a Democrat in 2022. Having candidates in these and other races represents the culmination of hard work done by Natrona County and Wyoming Democrats to grow the party and stand up for Wyoming values.
Joan Brust, Chair of the Natrona County Democrats, had this to say about this strong showing:
“Wyoming is changing, and you can see it in the growing number of Democrats on the ballot in Natrona County and across our state. But change doesn’t happen on its own—it happens when people show up and vote.”
“We need everyone to participate in both the primary and general elections. Talk to your friends, family, and neighbors. Make a plan to vote, and encourage others to do the same. Every vote matters. Every voice counts. Be the change you want to see. Vote.”
“If you value protecting our public lands, preserving clean air and clean water, and safeguarding the Wyoming way of life for future generations, your vote matters.”
“This year, Natrona County Democrats are offering voters Wyoming-first candidates who believe in real Wyoming values.”
“Change happens when people show up, run, and vote. Democrats are showing what it means to be the change you want to see.”
