Natrona County Democrats Welcome Ex-“MAGA Granny” Pam Hemphill to Casper

Natrona County Democrats welcomed Ex-“MAGA Granny” to Casper to share her journey of finding truth and reconciliation. She left the MAGA world after she pled guilty to being at the Capitol on January 6th and serving prison time, refusing Trump’s pardon and taking responsibility for her actions.

Left to right: State Committeewoman Fatima Bujosa, Treasurer Paula Jaworski, Vice Chair Keenan Morgan, WDP Minorities and Allies Caucus Chair Courtney Seghetti, Pam Hemphill, Chair Joan Brust

In her words:

“I pled guilty because I was guilty… The DOJ wasn’t ‘weaponized’ against me… I had a choice.”

She also discussed her life experience as an addiction counselor and the lessons she learned about truth, reconciliation, and atonement. In refusing Trump’s pardon, traveling to the Capitol to personally apologize to Capitol police, and traveling the country to atone and speak truth, she has shown incredible growth and courage.

As she told us:

“Saying ‘sorry’ is not enough… It has to be followed with action.”

Her inspiring story and evolution has taught us more about how to speak with our MAGA neighbors and relatives, as well as how to move forward in our country, letting FACTS guide us.

We want to thank all who attended and volunteered for our Q&A and Picnic for Democracy!

We also want to extend a huge thank you to Courtney Seghetti, Chair of the Wyoming Democratic Party Minorities and Allies Caucus, for helping get Pam to Casper to speak with us!
