We are happy to announce a two-part event we will be holding in July. Mark your calendar!
July Events:
– A Conversation with Pam Hemphill (Ex MAGA Granny)
– Picnic for Democracy
Hosted by the NC Dems and WDP Minorities and Allies Caucus
As many of you may know, Pam Hemphill, nicknamed “MAGA Granny”, is a former Trump supporter who took part in the January 6th Insurrection in 2021. She was convicted the following year and served prison time, pleading guilty and taking responsibility for her actions. Hemphill is noted for changing her mind on Trump during her time in prison and afterward, as well as for her refusal of a Trump’s J6 pardon (the only J6er to do so). Since her conviction, she has been an advocate for telling the truth about it January 6 and MAGA by telling her story, such as appearing on national news networks.
We would like to thank Courtney Seghetti, Chair of the Wyoming Democratic Party (WDP) Minorities and Allies Caucus, for getting Hemphill to agree to speak with us!

We believe this will be an enlightening conversation and picnic. We encourage everyone to keep it respectful!
We’d like to be able to cover room expenses for our guest and make up for the picnic cost. You can help us do that by donating to the NC Dems!
